Good gifts for a drummer?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for a considerable amount of time. I don't know what to get him for valentine's day, and I want to get him something really sweet nice but i have almost no extra money. any suggestions?
Boyfriend doesn't buy me gifts?
I have been with my boyfriend for almost two years now will be two this may and he never does anything thoughtful for me on any holiday not even my birthday. The only time I got something from him was Christmas 10' He got me Donkey Kong country for the wii. I bought him a Leather jacket that year for Christmas, and then his birthday came and I got him his favorite movie on blu ray, Valentines Day he got me nothing but I gifted him with his fav cologne and a hoodie....Last year 11 for his birthday I got a bottle of Skyy vodka and a mixer for his bday my bday is a month after his and he got me nothing not even a card And for the whole day he ignored me and acted like an a hole and then tells me he is sorry . I keep hinting to him that I would like some type of jewelry this year for valentines day but I still don't think he got the hint ... I don't mean to sound selfish or anything but I mean two years and not one token of appreciation ..... Really ?... How can I make him understand that I would like to get a gift now and again without really pressuring or making him upset? Do you guys think I'm asking for too much as far as jewelry goes? Cus I only want one ring lol

Is it ok to get a person the same gift that they gave you?
To me, this seems like someone can t make the effort to even attempt to try at get something thoughtful. I say this, as this happened to be recently... I've noticed that a friend keeps getting me the same gift I give them each Birthday and Xmas over the last year and half and it's ekking me really. I really do appreciate the gifts she gives me but I m a little disheartened by the lack of effort and the possibility that they are playing games particularly as they have mentioned in the past that they feel like they make the effort and that no one else does, and as a result this is a way of getting even. It feels pathetic on their part to be honest and I m sad if that's the case because I actually do value the friendship, I'd rather not get a gift and would much prefer their company What do you think???.....am I being silly about this or do think my friend is play childish games?Just to say also this friend is always saying she like to get original gift for friends and family, and I've seen this in the past so a lack of originality on her part is not an explanation for this.
